21/11/2015  Allsopp, Ryan  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  09:10 AM  P. You need to talk more to the kids. Talk them out of fouls. You were better in the second half. You spoke t them and told them what they were doing wrong. This should have happened from the beginning. It would have been a different game. make your signals to the bench crisper. Dont be wishy washy make your signals strong. Come to a stop when signalling to the bench. Show confidence. Enjoy being on court. Watch the contact under the basket. Again this improved in the second half.
29/08/2015  Peacock, Brooke  Spicer, Barry  Sat Am  12:10 PM  Brooke has a professional attitude towards her game. She has adequate fitness for this level of basketball 14A boys. Voice/preventative officiating was not obvious to me from the stands but Brooke had good control of the game and received good reactions from players. Brooke looks very good on court. Her uniform looks good. Trousers are neat and well fitting. Shoes are fully black as uniform requires.  13/06/2016
14/11/2015  Peacock, Brooke  Spicer, Barry  Sat Am  11:40 AM  P. Brooke's appearance is great. Her uniform was spot on. She has no problem with fitness or court coverage. Stronger assertive use of voice will help to ensure players/coaches know she is confident. Identifying legal defence was very good.
Get out of train lines in trail transition.
Blow whistle on lead baseline before handing player the ball.
Good sprint/rest when appropriate after 5 games conserving energy.

09/05/2015  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Ken  Sat Am  10:30 AM  preventative officiating was the only thing i think needed work. both of you were outstanding when it came to talking to the kids after the foul or violation, however it'd be good to see you try and prevent it from happening. try things such as 'hands off' 'straight up' 'dont reach'
this will really come in handy when you move onto more difficult games.

22/11/2014  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  10:30 AM  Jamie still needs to identify pushing fouls and travels. Use your voice more and keep reffing smart and you will continue to improve.
08/11/2014  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Jamie is very tall and can be clearly seen by the scorebench when calling his fouls, however, Jamie needs to go around the paint and clear the players when making his calls. Good whistle use your voice more in preventative officiating and this will help your confidence.
20/06/2015  Goldsmith, Todd  Hall, Glenn  Sat Am  12:10 PM  P. Ball carrier protection requires a lot work. Far too much contact not being called. You are young and fit so there is no reason why these players are beating you badly up and down the court. 2 steps before the dribble is a travel. 3 step lay ups is also a travel.   24/06/2015
21/02/2015  Goldsmith, Todd  Arnold, Sharon  Sat Am  09:40 AM  Quite kid
Stronger voice needed. More confidence in himself.

09/05/2015  Deayton, Max  Spratt, Ken  Sat Am  10:30 AM  talking to the kids after a call was a highlight in this game. after the call everyone knew what happened, however id like to see you get in the habit of preventing the calls needing to be made. try things such as 'hands out' 'straight up' etc.
also just try and keep your shirt tucked in. if you look the part its half the battle.

06/12/2014  Goldsmith, Todd  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Todd needs to blow his whistle more. Try to talk to the players with preventative talk, this may help your confidence.  09/01/2015
21/02/2015  Earl, Harry  Arnold, Sharon  Sat Am  09:40 AM  White shoes are awesome. It will take a while for Harry to come out of himself.  28/05/2017
21/11/2015  Earl, Harry  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  09:10 AM  P. Voice you need to talk to the kids. There was a lot of contact under the basket which was let go to start with. By talking using preventative phrases such as "Hands Off, Hands Out, Be straight, Play good D" this will help you feel part of the game. Smile and relax. You made the right calls but you look rigid and nervous. If you look like you are enjoying what you are doing this will help your confidence and will stop coaches wanting to question you. First half you didnt call much and the second half you went out and set the standard. This caused a bit of noise from the parents and coaches, you need to do this from tip off and coaches realise that their teams have to play properly. Set the standard early and teams adjust quickly. You have potential keep working at it and you will make it to B grade.  28/05/2017
12/12/2015  Bunston, Michael  Punton , Gaye  Sat Am  11:20 AM  P. Even though it was an under 12 game. You need to talk to the kids   01/06/2017
02/05/2015  Searle, Ellie  Spratt, Ken  Sat Am  11:20 AM  like we said during the game, just get a voice on the play. even before contact occurs. if we be proactive and talk to the players we have the chance to prevent the foul from even happening, which in the long run can stop players from getting fouled out. plus if we are talking to the players and they still foul, they have no reason to argue as we've already told them not to reach in or whatever they shouldn't be doing.  14/05/2015
12/12/2015  Searle, Ellie  Green, Prue  Sat Am  11:20 AM  P. No secondary signals, use your voice instead.   18/04/2016
21/02/2015  Searle, Ellie  Arnold, Sharon  Sat Am  10:30 AM  Talks very well to players.  14/05/2015
13/12/2014  Wendt, Jackson  Karwan, Ben  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Jackson's voice was strong and confident on signalling his foul calls to the bench and while administering free throws. Try and incorporate this voice into the live play. If you tell players to play good defence and they don't listen, they can't argue if you call a foul. Establish the standard early in the game.  02/05/2015
18/07/2015  Wendt, Jackson  X, X  Sat Am  08:50 AM  P. - Continue to use your voice.  19/07/2015
15/08/2015  McGrath, Kyle  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat Am  12:10 PM  P. Great voice, I could hear you from the stands on K1 and it was great to hear. Just keep on using it more consistently, especially early in the game.  14/09/2016
27/06/2015  McGrath, Kyle  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  10:30 AM  P. Communication with players was limited. When you talk to the players be preventative and not reactive. Put a little bit more volume in it.  14/09/2016
