Talk to the players about preventing fouls, "hands out", "hands up", "Don't reach", etc. Your talk to the players after the action is good, "good D" but lets try to prevent the foul first. Best uniformed ref there. Spot on. Fitness no issue, most times in front of the ball, great to see.

Where your communication was consistent and loud do not get into the habit of saying "good d" This can bring you unstuck if your partner sees a foul and calls it. Directive from Barry recently was we are not to coach the players we are to officiate. Use techniques such as "Straight Up". Very little movement which gave the appearance of not wanting to be there. Couldn't hear much talking to players. When reffing with younger refs this would be good to show them.
