24/09/2019  Borynsztein, Daniel  Pratt, Mitchell  TUE Night  08:40 PM  You had a great attitude on the game and I could see you working hard. As your confidence on the court grows start using your voice. "Keep hands straight" etc This will save you the whistle and create a stronger presence.  03/03/2022
08/11/2014  Borg, Adam  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  10:30 AM  Adam is newly graded and only refs Saturday mornings. He is keen to learn and take advice. With more sessions under his belt Adam should improve not only with his confidence but his foul selection. Use your voice a little more Adam. The more you talk to the players the more confident you will feel and the better you will feel about calling fouls. Adam is fit and professional looking on court.
30/01/2021  Booth, Glenn  Whitehead, Tim  Sat Am  09:00:00  Do not walk while you signal to the bench, ensure you are stationary. Signals needed to be clearer and crisper, and to ensure they are in the window/box while signalling.
18/10/2014  Boek, Tom  Callaghan, Stuart  Saturday  10:10 AM
21/04/2018  Blanusa, Aleks  Murray, Glenn  Saturday  11:00 AM  Really good job with voice on calls to the bench - just slow signals down
30/10/2019  Blakiston, Maddie  Tomazic, Nick  WED Afternoon  05:20 PM  your presentation and presence on court was really good, at times I would have liked to hear a bit more voice but overall a good job.  24/11/2019
15/05/2019  Blakiston, Maddie  Tomazic, Nick  WED Afternoon  06:10 PM  would like to see more voice.  24/11/2019
30/10/2019  Blakiston, Lachlan  Tomazic, Nick  WED Afternoon  06:10 PM  Great attitude and appearance. Strong on the court. I would like to see more voice used to prevent us having to use the whistle.  05/11/2019
25/05/2019  Blakiston, Lachlan  Green, Prue  Sat PM  01:50 PM  Lachie used his voice well but instead of saying hands off, tell them hand up.  30/10/2019
14/12/2019  Blakiston, Lachlan  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat Am  12:10 PM  Ensure you are using your voice to prevent the fouls call and instruct the players of legal D.
10/08/2013  Blakeley, Nathan  Carpenter, Matthew  Saturday  1:00 PM  Jump ball signal at chest height  28/08/2013
28/08/2013  Blakeley, Nathan  Moyle, Allan  Wednesday  7:40 PM  Need to increase foul count on these sorts of games, hand checking and body contact excessive. Sometimes not quite in position, particularly under the basket. No lateral movement on the base line, tending to “camp out” in one spot.
Non existent 8 second count remedied in second half. Use a flat horizontal hand to make the visible call.
3 second calls missing.
Missed, “gaol tending”. You called a foul prior to the infringement on the basket, but did not sell the call to the players who got agitated.
Better use and increased voice volume required to communicate and sell calls.

28/08/2013
28/08/2013  Blake, Peter  Moyle, Allan  Wednesday  6:40 PM  General signals could be improved and made clearer.
Travel violations need to be called as they occur; dragging a pivot foot is a violation every day in Domestic Competition.
8 Second visible signal in trail inconsistent.
Need to be more vigilant with 3 second calls.
Some contested balls/shooting fouls missed under the basket, in lead not penetrating far enough and moving along the key.
Good engagement with players and use of voice to manage play quite good.
Generally watch out for over the back fouls in the key.

01/07/2017  Blackney, Rebecca  Scholey, Allison  Saturday  02:00 PM  Dont start with few bad habits
01/03/2017  Black, Taylah  Pratt, Mitchell  WED Afternoon  06:10 PM  Good voice but make it louder, let everyone know what you are telling the players.
27/06/2015  Black, Jamie  Hall, Glenn  Sat PM  01:50 PM  P. When you blow your whistle for a sub, make sure your partner hears you and prevents the balls from going back into play. If the ball does goes into play after you having been blowing the whistle for the sub, keep blowing it, stop the play and allow the subs to come in. In respect to calling the game, Stevie Wonder could have reffed this game. Very slow and everything was very obvious. Not many calls to make at all
09/05/2015  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Ken  Sat Am  10:30 AM  preventative officiating was the only thing i think needed work. both of you were outstanding when it came to talking to the kids after the foul or violation, however it'd be good to see you try and prevent it from happening. try things such as 'hands off' 'straight up' 'dont reach'
this will really come in handy when you move onto more difficult games.

22/11/2014  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  10:30 AM  Jamie still needs to identify pushing fouls and travels. Use your voice more and keep reffing smart and you will continue to improve.
08/11/2014  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Jamie is very tall and can be clearly seen by the scorebench when calling his fouls, however, Jamie needs to go around the paint and clear the players when making his calls. Good whistle use your voice more in preventative officiating and this will help your confidence.
16/05/2015  Black, Jamie  Spratt, Patrick  Sat PM  01:00 PM  P. Need to maintain concentration and look as though you are interested in the game.
