29/05/2015  McIntyre, Devney  Moody, Daryl  FRI VJBL  08:40 PM  P. See comment re player footwork.
01/06/2019  McGrath, Tim  Green, Prue  Sat Am  12:10 PM  You need to have clean shoes and to have a louder voice especially when calling fouls to the bench.
23/05/2015  McGrath, Kyle  Moody, Daryl  Sat PM  05:10 PM  P. Reactions to T/overs; when they go hard, refs go harder. Concentrate on defenders when they move into b/carrier. Strong body language shows confidence & will help you to gain the respect of players. Inject your personality into what you do.   14/09/2016
15/08/2015  McGrath, Kyle  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat Am  12:10 PM  P. Great voice, I could hear you from the stands on K1 and it was great to hear. Just keep on using it more consistently, especially early in the game.  14/09/2016
27/06/2015  McGrath, Kyle  Spratt, Julie  Sat Am  10:30 AM  P. Communication with players was limited. When you talk to the players be preventative and not reactive. Put a little bit more volume in it.  14/09/2016
19/11/2014  McGrath, Connor  Spratt, Patrick  WED Afternoon  06:10 PM  Referee the defence and establish who is creating the contact. Don't ball watch, trust your partner to make the calls.
28/06/2014  McGrath, Connor  Spicer, Barry  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Use of voice was good but avoid over using voice as players become immune to what is said. Avoid saing "don't put your hands in". As an alternative say "play good defence". Then when they foul there is no come back.
Connor's appearance is very good on court. Neat and athletic, professional appearance.
Very good trousers and referee shoes. It's great to see referees in perfect uniform.
An example to other associations.

20/08/2016  McGrath, Connor  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat Am  12:10 PM  P. Need more talk on the floor. Use preventative officiating "Keep hands off" etc. Save yourself the whistle.  08/09/2016
12/11/2014  McGrath, Connor  Spratt, Patrick  WED Afternoon  06:10 PM  Trail positioning and movement are the areas that Connor needs to work on in order to progress as an official.   20/11/2014
09/05/2015  McGrath, Connor  Moody, Daryl  Sat PM  01:00 PM  Inject you personality into your calls; eg Great block by player; sell it with great signal. Get a buzz out of it.  07/03/2016
27/06/2015  McGrath, Connor  Moody, Daryl  Sat PM  01:50 PM  P. Confidence; believe in yourself ; then show everyone else. Strong signals.  07/03/2016
27/06/2015  McGrath, Connor  Hall, Glenn  Sat PM  01:00 PM  P. Shooter & ball carrier protection was good. Court coverage and moving to find & keep the gaps was well displayed. Travels are a big issue. Far too many huge travels not called. 2 steps before the dribble and 3 steps lay ups must be called.   07/03/2016
29/10/2014  McGrath, Connor  Moody, Daryl  WED Afternoon  06:40 PM  Be assertive; slow down on call, sell & briefly explain (if necessary). Work with a senior when possible & feed off them.  20/11/2014
15/11/2016  McGougan, Kelsea  McKinnon, Trish  Tuesday  05:40 PM  Don't forget your warning whistle, on baseline.
Don't let teams talk to long during time outs.

30/01/2021  McCubbin, Seth  Whitehead, Tim  Sat Am  09:00:00  You need to ensure you use your voice more, especially to prevent contact, but also when signalling to the bench. Work to say the foul out loud, at the same time as you signal it.
30/07/2014  McCready, Shannon  Palmer, Bruce  Wednesday  7:10 PM  Worker hard from beginning to end
11/11/2014  McCready, Chris  Roylance, Wayne  Tuesday  9:00 PM  Attitude was very good to all players & partner, need to use your voice a lot more in the 1st half particularly, if they don't listen make the call, it will make the 2nd half a lot easier.
03/08/2014  McCready, Chris  Warren, Ken  Sunday  6:00 PM  Chris needs to call the contact and the violations. Chris moves well up and down the court however tends to let far to much contact go.
25/03/2014  McCready, Chris  Morris, Steve  Tuesday  7:30 PM  Use you voice to try and prevent calling of fouls, however if contact occurs we need to call the foul.
05/05/2014  McCann, Mason  Morris, Steve  Monday  7:50 PM  In your Lead position move your feet to see the gap, don?t lean
2. In Trail you have a tendency to back away once the shot is put up you need to hold you position to see if there is any contact.
3. Referee the defence, remember the principle, ?Who hit Who?
