Just make the call, sell at point of call, then call to bench and keep going
Wait for them to ask before explaining yourself otherwise it looks like you're trying to convince yourself rather than them.

Lead ; Must penetrate inside when players drive to basket or keyway, get the best view by being inside. Run harder to get to lead on Fast breaks; get there first, don't coast. Use your voice strongly as an instrument of communication. Back it up with strong sharp signals.

Wasn't really much voice used in this game, would have liked to have heard a bit more as I feel the players would have reacted well to the voice. Even though the game did not get out of hand it's just something to keep in mind as an elite referee.   27/11/2017

Also in transition Russell tended to head to lead, not watching the play.Russell tends to lean instead of move. We spoke about this and he said he wasn't aware but will watch it .
