05/03/2020  Hayward, Benjamin  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  05:35 PM  Remind coach to sub through the bench. Needs to penetrate in trail more to get the gap and be close enough to be confident in blowing the whistle. Wait until the ball gets to the F/T line before transitioning from lead into trail so as to not get straight-lined with the play. Straighten arm on fouls. There is no "sub both" signal in the rulebook, signal each sub individually. Great lead mechanics. Signals were clear and sharp. Looked very professional. If double whistle happens in midcourt let trail signal to bench. Be louder and more consistent with your voice, it's your greatest tool to prevent illegal contact.
05/03/2020  Loring, Mason  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  04:55 PM  Don't rely on partner too much. Notice the kinds of calls he is making and be consistent at both ends. Call obvious travels so players learn and develop. Jumpball signal needs to be higher and visible. Don't always go down tram tracks in trail, get to splitline if necessary so you can get the angle and players can hear your voice. Signals 11-15 are with both hands. Penetration in trail was good. Looked very professional. Could have called it tighter but game was kept in control.
05/03/2020  Mohamed, Mo  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  04:55 PM  Coaches to sit in appropriate section. Good penetration in trail. Don't signal foul to bench from endline. Signals were sharp and clear. 5/8 sec count signal should be at shoulder level.Make sure players are 1 metre back from sideline if there isn't 2 metres behind the throw-in player. Looked very professional. Good voice at times. Overall could have called the game tighter but controlled the game to an acceptable standard. Call obvious travels to ensure the players learn and develop.  12/05/2022

26/11/2015  Spratt, Ken  Spratt, Patrick  THU Night  07:00 PM  P. Wasn't really much voice used in this game, would have liked to have heard a bit more as I feel the players would have reacted well to the voice. Even though the game did not get out of hand it's just something to keep in mind as an elite referee.   27/11/2017
06/11/2014  Nicholas, Keisha  Pratt, Mitchell  THU Night  07:15 PM  Keisha presented her calls well and showed why she is an A grade official.  19/04/2019

30/07/2015  Morgan X, Phillip  Spratt, Ken  THU Night  08:30 PM  P. You looked as though you had control of the game from start to finish, however there were a few times you were noticeably tired. This comes back into don't work too hard if you don't have to. Again it's great to see the effort, but remember you have multiple games to ref on a session, that's why it's so important to work on your mechanics, which will lead to being more comfortable on the court, which will have a significant effect on your in game fitness.  23/02/2022
13/08/2015  Murphy, Jamie  Spratt, Ken  THU Night  08:30 PM  just bring a positive attitude to every game and try and make each game better than the last. no referee is going to be able to go out to a game and say they were perfect, but there's no harm in trying
23/05/2013  Moran, Hailey   Spicer, Barry  THU Night  6:30 PM  Work on increasing your use of strong loud voice to earn respect and encourage players to avoid fouling.
Hailey's professional appearance was great. Good fitting shirt and trousers. Ensure the next pair of shoes is black, avoid the bright colored laces and trimmings. straight black shoes would have been the icing on a very good appearance.
15/06/2013
07/02/2013  Moran, Hailey   Black, Neil  THU Night  7:15 PM  Hailey has a friendly attitude to the players, but needs to move more to find the gaps in play.
Look at the shorts, they should be longer, more appropriate for the sport.
Hailey would benefit from some preventative officiating to let the players know where she is focusing.
Hailey has good whistle technique, quick and decisive.
08/07/2013
08/10/2015  Sumner, Tayla  Spratt, Ken  THU Night  07:45 PM  You definitely look the part, just try your best every game
If players can see you're trying they'll be a lot easier to convince when there are tough situations to deal with.

26/11/2015  Brown, Corey  Spratt, Patrick  THU Night  07:00 PM  P. Use of voice was lacking in this game, need to talk to the players in order to make sure you are keeping them in check and that you are controlling the game.
16/07/2015  Whitting, Luke  Spratt, Ken  THU Night  08:30 PM  P. Try and get a voice to prevent the fouls
16/07/2015  Lyssenkoff, Monique  Spratt, Ken  THU Night  08:30 PM  P. Just try and get a voice on things so you can prevent the fouls from happening
You're making the right calls, however you can work harder to try and prevent it happening at all. This will also help improve your reading of the game.
