25/10/2014  Taylor, Stephanie  Moyle, Allan  Saturday  02:20 PM  Preventative voice picked up in second half. Voice control needs to be maintained.  30/08/2015
07/02/2015  Taylor, Tom  Arnold, Sharon  Sat PM  02:10 PM  use of voice to prevent things happening needs work.  10/02/2015
05/11/2014  Taylor, Tom  Spratt, Patrick  WED Afternoon  05:00 PM  Tom is a good young referee. He has a good court presence and good demeanor, however he needs to work on his penetration in trail in order to keep the players boxed in. He also needs work on his hand signals as they were sloppy and all over the place. I spoke to Tom about this and went through the hand signals with him. If Tom keeps trying to improve and keeps a good attitude he has potential to be a good referee.   10/02/2015
05/08/2017  Tebbatt, Grace  McKinnon, Trish  Saturday  09:20 AM  Grace, teams need to be approached if they are being to slow in returning to the court.
16/08/2017  Tebbatt, Grace  McKinnon, Trish  Wednesday Jnr  05:45 PM  Don't forget your warning whistle on baseline.

07/09/2013  Terlato, David  Kastrati, Eden  Saturday  8:00 AM  A voice to prevent fouls is a very good tool to have while refereeing, don't be afraid to tell the players to get there hands out, play straight up ect.
Although it was great how you explained your calls to the players.

16/11/2013  Terlato, David  Spalding, Andrew  Saturday  10:30 AM  You are eager to please and happy to explain calls so you have the right motives and attitude.
12/07/2014  Thaller, Cassandra  Green, Prue  Sat Am  11:20 AM  Need to use your voice for preventative refereeing.  02/05/2015
02/05/2015  Thaller, Cassandra  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:50 PM  Get the voice louder, use your voice to save the whistle.
15/02/2020  Thomas , Sam  Morgan X, Phillip  Sat PM  03:30 PM  Use your voice consistently throughout the game and speak louder when calling to the bench. Communicate more with the players.  02/08/2022
30/01/2021  Thomas , Sam  #, Supervisor  Sat Am  10:00:00  Calling of shooting fouls needs to be improved. Work on identifying the Legal Guarding Position as discussed. Ensure you watch the whole play and do not miss the fouls once the offence has returned to the floor. Side contact on the offensive player needs to be called earlier up the court to prevent the pushing that was occurring on the shot, for example, the arm bar on the hip pushing the offensive player off their line  02/08/2022
30/01/2017  Thomas, Jack  Pratt, Mitchell  MON Night  09:30 PM  P. Talk during the dead ball periods is great, make sure to put this on when the ball is live.

Need more talk, you use the whistle well to make the call but avoid blowing it when you can. use phrases such as "play good D" etc to get the players to follow your voice.

30/03/2019  Thomas, Jack  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  03:00 PM  Talk is reactive not preventative. "Keep hands out" Not "take hands out"  07/02/2020
04/05/2019  Thomas, Jack  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:00 PM  Would like to hear more voice, very quite on the floor. Save the whistle.

No issue with presentation or fitness. Looked very sharp.

04/10/2014  Thomas, Lachlan  Moyle, Allan  Saturday  01:00 PM  When I arrived at the game I observed two referees who were just going through the motions. You did look a lot more active after I introduced myself. If I am observing this behaviour then so are the spectators, players and coaches.
30/03/2019  Thomas, Matt  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  03:00 PM  More Preventative talk would help eliminate the softer transitional calls.

Non verbal cues are not needed. "Second signals for all ball"

03/06/2019  Thomas, Matt  Spratt, Patrick  MON Night  07:00 PM  Use of preventative voice needs work. You spoke to players on occasion and when you did it worked well. You need to apply this more consistently throughout the game.   27/01/2020
03/06/2019  Thomas, Matt  Spratt, Patrick  MON Night  08:00 PM  Preventative voice again was an issue, being able to talk to players allows for the possibility of eliminating fouls before they happen which allows for a more free flowing game.   27/01/2020
17/06/2019  Thomas, Matt  Pratt, Mitchell  MON Night  08:00 PM  Presented well and looked strong  27/01/2020
01/08/2016  Thomas, Matt  Spratt, Ken  MON Night  07:00 PM  P.just need to talk more to the players. this was a very physical game with some hot heads, but unfortunately there was no preventative voice to prevent some of the contact. this will in most cases make your job easier, because then if they do foul, its their fault because youve already told them not to.  23/10/2017
