25/02/2020  p, g  Punton , Gaye  TUE Afternoon  05:35 PM  for this standard of game - nothing  10/03/2020
29/02/2020  Brownfield, Mack  Morgan, Trent  Sat Am  12:10 PM  All white shoes would be preferred, otherwise appearance was perfect.

Kept composed under pressure in a close game & maintained focus.

29/02/2020  Watson, Emma  Payne , Robyn  Sat PM  01:00 PM  You look professional and when calling to the bench you have a loud clear voice. You can always use more voice to prevent fouls.
29/02/2020  Carlton, Harvey  Payne , Robyn  Sat PM  01:00 PM  Maybe new white shoes and socks as discussed. Not a fashion statement. You also can smile and look like you are having fun. You can always use your voice more in officiating.   02/03/2020
29/02/2020  Koopmans, Ben  Morgan, Trent  Sat Am  12:10 PM  Preventative voice & communication was great throughout the whole game, just sharpen the whistle and be confident.  04/06/2020
05/03/2020  Mohamed, Mo  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  04:55 PM  Coaches to sit in appropriate section. Good penetration in trail. Don't signal foul to bench from endline. Signals were sharp and clear. 5/8 sec count signal should be at shoulder level.Make sure players are 1 metre back from sideline if there isn't 2 metres behind the throw-in player. Looked very professional. Good voice at times. Overall could have called the game tighter but controlled the game to an acceptable standard. Call obvious travels to ensure the players learn and develop.  12/05/2022
05/03/2020  Hayward, Benjamin  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  05:35 PM  Remind coach to sub through the bench. Needs to penetrate in trail more to get the gap and be close enough to be confident in blowing the whistle. Wait until the ball gets to the F/T line before transitioning from lead into trail so as to not get straight-lined with the play. Straighten arm on fouls. There is no "sub both" signal in the rulebook, signal each sub individually. Great lead mechanics. Signals were clear and sharp. Looked very professional. If double whistle happens in midcourt let trail signal to bench. Be louder and more consistent with your voice, it's your greatest tool to prevent illegal contact.
05/03/2020  Loring, Mason  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  04:55 PM  Don't rely on partner too much. Notice the kinds of calls he is making and be consistent at both ends. Call obvious travels so players learn and develop. Jumpball signal needs to be higher and visible. Don't always go down tram tracks in trail, get to splitline if necessary so you can get the angle and players can hear your voice. Signals 11-15 are with both hands. Penetration in trail was good. Looked very professional. Could have called it tighter but game was kept in control.
05/03/2020  Downes, Sophie  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  06:15 PM  Reminded scorer to signal subs at half-time, possibly should've been dealt with earlier. Identify players with plaits before tip-off. Don't turn back to scoretable to point direction so as to be ready to call subs/timeout if necessary. Stay with the play on trail (eg. If players are walking ball down the court you may walk but if they jog or run, you must also jog/run), much better in the 2nd half. Excellent use of voice, verbally supportive of team that was losing to help them stay positive and keep trying. Both looked confident reffing together. Make sure to protect ball carrier (obvious push by Blue 10 in midcourt)
Easy game, not tested.

05/03/2020  Brobbel, Lara  Spotswood, Nathan  THU Afternoon  06:15 PM  Easy game so not really tested. Identify girls wearing plaits before tip-off. Both looked confident reffing together. Excellent use of voice, verbally supportive of team that was losing so as to keep them feeling positive and keep trying. Made a decision to make a late travel call out of area which was correct (Gave partner a chance to call it and the made a late call, perfect). Sometimes a bit too low on trail for free throws (make sure you can see feet of players lined up opposite you). Sometimes needs to be a bit wider on lead to see the whole play (eg. travel on Blue 19 near side line. Wonderful explanations to players after they traveled. I was very impressed overall, well done.
05/03/2020  Brobbel, Lara  Armstrong, Andrew  THU Afternoon  05:35 PM  Don't let shooter run in before ball hits the ring. Communicate with scorers a bit earlier if the arrow is pointing the wrong way to save confusion. Point with two fingers. Try not to raise a fist and then open it as a violation (can confuse your partner). 5 sec count too slow. Work on ball toss. Make sure you look like you want to be there (eg. jog to position to signal to bench). Voice could be louder and more consistent. Signals were clear and sharp. Looked very professional. Call travel if player rolls onto their side so as to teach them. Lots of great calls, controlled the game well.  04/05/2021
