17/07/2015  Tuffin, Ryan  Pratt, Mitchell  FRI VJBL  21:40  P. SHOES. Black shoes are the dress code. Not black with white soles, not predominantly black. It says Black. No variation. This is not domestic basketball anymore, this is one step under VC.

Other than this you presented your self very well.

17/07/2015  Fowler, Matt  Pratt, Mitchell  FRI VJBL  19:40  P. Hair, if your touching it your not concentrating.

Need to get loud, demand good D and when they play illegal defence penalise them. "Keep hands out" etc

17/07/2015  Dielemans, Shahn  Pratt, Mitchell  FRI VJBL  19:40  P. Need to use a louder voice, demand good D with hands out, don't suggest it, then when they don't conform enforce it.
17/07/2015  Spicer , Nick  Pratt, Mitchell  FRI VJBL  21:40  P. Nick you looked the part, well done.

20/07/2015  Downes, Ethan  Couche, Casey  MON Night  09:30 PM  More preventative voice needed in order to clean the game up a bit, but not a major issue in this particular game.   09/01/2016
20/07/2015  Tuffin, Ryan  Couche, Casey  MON Night  09:30 PM  Voice was great on no calls - loud and clear. Perhaps more could have been used on the preventative side of things, you'll be surprised how many times you can avoid a foul just by telling the player how to play D!
25/07/2015  Twentyman, Jackson  Payne , Robyn  Sat PM  03:30 PM  Good communication with fellow ref especially with 3 point calls. Use your voice on situations as camping in the key and 8 second back court. By talking to the players about getting out of the key and get the ball over half crt means that you are watching this. You now have a VBRA badge so could that be put on.
25/07/2015  Atkins, Shaun  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:50 PM  P. Get your voice louder, the talk i heard was good but make sure all can hear.

DONT BOUNCE THE BALL!!!

25/07/2015  Clarke, Riley  Payne , Robyn  Sat PM  03:30 PM  Good communication with other ref especially with 3 point shots. Use your voice on 8 second count and players camping in the key. Tell players to get out of the key or get the ball over then everyone knows that you are watching this. You ran well especially to get baseline on some of those fast breaks.
25/07/2015  Menzies, Ann-Maree  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:50 PM  P. Preventative officiating such as "keep hands out" "play good d" are more effective then after the contact saying good D or "he was straight" Once again the idea is there just need to polish it.

As we spoke about and i know you don't mean to come off this way but don't be confrontational with your foul call. Being confident on calls is good and its great to tell them what they did wrong but take a breath after the call, and tone it back. Chill out a bit and save the big confident dominant sell for the 50/50 calls.

25/07/2015  Lyssenkoff, Monique  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:00 PM  P. Need a louder voice, tell them how to play D. "Keep hands out" "play good D" etc. Prevent the foul.

Great coach communication on the ball advancement!
28/11/2015
25/07/2015  Johnston, Skye  Pratt, Mitchell  Sat PM  01:00 PM  P. Your voice could be heard at points but if you are going to be successful in your A grade attempt you need to be louder. Use more preventative talk and tell them what you want. "play good D" "don't be the hands in" talk them out of fouling!

Great communication with coaches re ball advancement!! Was great to see your rule knowledge and communication skills at work.
